Robert Ambrose, the President of Planes & Parts Ltd., has been involved in aviation for 40 years as an Airline Transport Rated Pilot, Charter Operator, Chief Pilot, and Operations Manager. “Bob” was a Captain in 1969 flying DHC6 Twin Otters in the high arctic of Canada and has since flown over 25000 hours to all corners of the world.
While operating a charter business in the Yukon in 1991, Bob conducted the first commercial flight from Canada to the former Soviet Union flying a Metroliner. During his tenure as Chief Pilot at the world’s largest operator of DHC6’s, Bob flew and supervised the deployment of DHC6 and Beech Turboprops all over the world.
